Membership - Our Second Year
Seattle Balkan Dancers is a State of Washington, not-for-profit corporation created to promote, preserve and teach participatory Balkan dancing and related arts in the Greater Puget Sound area. If you support this purpose, join us!
By joining, you will:
- publicly declare yourself as a Balkan dance devotee
- have an excuse to donate another $5 towards rent and other expenses
- gain the right to vote for directors who run things like Friday night teaching and dancing, parties, and special events (provided you also come dancing now and then)
- have the opportunity to volunteer, if you wish, to help make things happen
- feel better about yourself and the world!
To join, please see us on any Friday night event and complete the application and pay your dues. Or print the application and bring it in. You will be issued a membership card as evidence that you are truly a Balkan dance devotee! Please Note! Current members can get a special renewal membership form either at Friday night dance, or emailed to them.
ANNUAL Membership Dues: $5.00 – Membership good through December 31, 2012 for folks joining now.

* *If you will be under 18 years of age as of January 1, 2012, your dues payment due through December 31, 2012 is zero. You will have the right to vote and the right to join a committee. Anyone who is 18 years of age, or older is eligible to hold a Board of Directors office.
